December 22nd 1990-August 13th 2008
On August 13th 2008, Cherish was swept suddenly into the presence of her best friend, Jesus. While her departure was sudden, Andrea has run the race with boldness and joy, and is now praising God passionately as she did while here on earth. Andrea leaves behind a family who look forward to seeing her again, including her parents Bentley and Stella Steegstra, and her sisters (her favourite people in the whole world) Rachelle Serene and Casandra Harmony. Other family members include her Opa and Nanny (Louis & Mary Steegstra), Grandpa and Grandma (George and Martha Banman), and a multitude of uncles, aunties, cousins and friends. Our sorrow is palpable. We will cherish her memory.
A viewing will occur at Henderson's Funeral Home from 7 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21st 2008. A Memorial Service honouring Andrea's journey with us and her continued life with Jesus, will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22nd 2008 at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Road.
