On the morning of February 17th, 2016, Andy went to be with his Heavenly Father after a long history of health issues. Andy is survived by his loving wife Helen of 55 years, daughter Esther (Bill) Fietje, grandchildren Michelle (Kevin), Vanessa (Kenny), Joshua, Samantha, great grandchild Kenzie, his brother Jacques (Geke) Vanderham in Africa and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Eric Vanderham. Andy was born in the Netherlands and immigrated with his family to start a new adventure in Abbotsford in 1974. He was an honest, hardworking man that enjoyed his life to the fullest. He loved to paint, volunteer playing piano at different retirement homes, videoing church services to play at Ebenezer home, and taking drives with Helen through the beautiful country side. A celebration of Andy's life will be held on Thursday, March 10th at Gateway Community Christian Reformed Church, 2884 Gladys Ave., Abbotsford, BC at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
