Anje (Ann) left this old world behind for a much better place on April 9, 2009, while she was in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. She was born into a large family and immigrated from Holland to Canada in 1954. As a girl she loved skating on the frozen canals and she and the family worked in th fields binding and stooking grain, She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Spike Schraa. Kroon, Nelly (Henry) van Tol, Tilly (Ralph) Nywening, John (Leonora) de Kroon, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 1 sister in Australia, 2 sisters and 3 brothers in Holland. She was a very caring and loving person and will be missed by all of us for many years to come. A viewing will be held at Northside Community Church, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Rd., Mission from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18 with burial following at Hatzic Cemetery, 34867 Cemetery Ave., at 11.45 a.m. A Celebration of Life will then be held at Northside Community Church at 1:00 p.m.
