PARSCHAUER, Annie Mary

Annie Mary Parschauer was born in Laird, Saskatchewan to Frederick and Katherine Baun on December 31, 1916. Annie was the 7th of 12 children, and the second born in Canada after her parents had emigrated from Russia. Annie was married to William Fred Parschauer of Middle Lake, Saskatchewan, in October of 1935. They settled in the country and eventually moved into the hamlet of Middle Lake. They were blessed with 5 children and Annie was a wonderful mother and care- giver to all of them. She was predeceased by William in December, 1990 after 55 years of joyful union. Annie is survived by her children: Walter and Anne Parschauer of Middle Lake; Bob and Betts Parschauer of Edgewater, Florida; Lillian and Henry TeWinkel of St. Clements, Ontario: Eunice and Bill Hiebert of Abbotsford, B.C.; Judy and Chuck Bodey of LaGrange, Ohio. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Annie loved God with all her heart and prayed for all her family and friends as she finally resided in Abbotsford, BC. Her daughter Eunice gave her special loving care in her final days before she went home to be with her Lord on the Lord's Day, March 29, 2009. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and the staff at Maplewood House. Special thanks to Maplewood House for their loving care of our Mother. A memorial service is planned for May 1, at 2 p.m., at the Melinoski and Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt Saskatchewan.
