SMITH, Arthur Thomas (Tom) Donal- of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2011.
Tom was predeceased by his wife of 59 years~Thelma, and his eldest son~Ted. He is survived by his sister~Madelaine Lye, daughter-in-law Lynn Smith, and his children Pamela McIntosh (Doug), Jeff Smith (Louise), Rebecca LeComte (Frank), 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Tom will be remembered for his generous and caring heart; always mindful of the needs of others. His refreshing sense of humor never failed him. Tom had a deep and personal relationship with his Lord, Jesus Christ; and thoroughly enjoyed the gift of nature’s wonders. He was an extraordinary family man and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Northside Community Church, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Rd. in Mission. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom`s memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of BC.
