It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Aubrey Charles Nicholson after a lengthy illness. Aubrey passed peacefully April 27, 2018, at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Carol, just 6 weeks short of their 50th Anniversary. Daughter Shelley (grand-daughters Amber and Tara and Great-grandbabies Grant and Emma Rose). Son Patrick (Grand-daughter Samantha-Jo and Grandson Korey). And Daughter Stacey (grand-daughter Kirstin(Tina). Aubrey will also be very missed by his younger sister Loretta, in-laws, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Born in Edmonton, AB, Dad learned at an early age the value of hard work, perseverance and the value of treating everyone he met with respect and humility.
His passion for going to the Drag Races and Fishing many a serene lake made for great content in his love of story telling. Dad has hung his sign this one final time - GONE FISHING!
A celebration of life will be held May 27th, 2018 at the McConnell Creek Farmers Institute at 1pm at 35483 Hartley Road, Hatzic, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the BC Children's Hospital or the Variety Club.
