Ben passed away with his daughter by his side. Predeceased by his parents, one brother and wife Janet. Survived by sons; Ben and Mike, daughter Laurie (John), grandchildren; John and Sarah (Donovan), Great grandchildren; Hailie and Nathan, brother-in-law John (Shirley) Donaldson, many nieces, nephews, friends and his furry companion Bear. A Graveside Service will be held on April 8th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Fraser Cemetery, located on Richmond Street in New Westminster (Sapperton), BC. Memorial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Centre of Hope, 34081 Gladys Avenue, Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Centre of Hope in Abbotsford. Dad requested that everyone to be dressed casual, no suits please.
