We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bruce following a lengthy illness. He is survived and missed by his loving wife Dickie, his son Steven and his daughter Sheila (Sue). Also missing him are his grandchildren: Taylor (16), Finn (7) and Trinity (6), his two sisters Joyce and Doris in Saskatchewan and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Bruce grew up on a farm in Palmer, Saskatchewan and went on to become an Automotive Accountant. He worked at several dealerships in Saskatchewan and Abbotsford. He later worked for Corrections Canada until his retirement. Bruce was predeceased by his parents Alex and Gertrude Collins, sister Norma Bowler and brother Glenn Collins. He was a man of few words who loved his family with quiet strength - he was especially proud of his grandchildren. Bruce was an avid reader and was seldom without a book in his hands. The family wishes to thank the staff on the P.A.T.H. and A.C.E. units for their excellent care. As per Bruce's wishes, there will be no service.
