Bruce Allan Magnus was tragically taken away from us on Tuesday, November 17th in a logging accident near Hope, BC. Bruce was 62, born June 28, 1953 in Trail, BC. He is survived by his spouse, Elaine Holmes, daughter Nicole (Britt), son Greg, siblings Jan (Jerry), Bob (Elaine), Sandy, David (Linda), Fern (Daryl), Donald and Tim (Ruth), nieces and nephews, stepchildren Todd (Deanna), Michelle (Lee), Craig (Nancy) and Roxanne (Tom) along with grandchilden and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Bud and Jean Magnus.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held Saturday November 28th at 11 am at the Coast Hotel on First Avenue, Chilliwack, BC. Memorial donations may be made to the Hope or Chilliwack Search and Rescue or to Chilliwack Safe Haven for Cats, in Bruce's memory. Many thanks to the efforts of Search and Rescue, Hope RCMP and Police Dog Service. Bruce was a log truck driver for 40 years - it was his passion - he will be dearly missed by his family, his friends and so many in the logging industry. He will always be remembered with a smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand. In Bruce's honour, following the service and reception, we will gather at Friendly Mike's Pub on Young Road at 3:00 pm for whoever wishes to join us.
