Catherine passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2019 at the McKenney Creek Hospice Residence in Maple Ridge at the age of 94. She was born in New Westminster on February 11th, 1925. Catherine was an active member of the Mission and Silverhill Community. She loved working in her garden, and she loved her family and friends dearly. Catherine is survived by her sister Lillian Vaughan, daughter Kathleen Watts, son in-law Gord, grandsons Rick (Kati) and Jason (Jennifer), great grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas and Caitlyn, numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her husband George Allan, with whom she was married for 54 years and by her sister Louise Johnson. A celebration of Catherine's life will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at 1:30 pm at the Bakerview Community Crematorium and Celebration Centre at 34863 Cemetery Ave., Mission, BC.
