DYKSHOORN; Chelsey. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our quiet, beautiful soul, Chelsey Dykshoorn. She passed away tragically on June 1, 2014 at the age of 22 due to injuries sustained from a boating accident. Chelsey is survived by her mother Patti, father Rod, step-mother Betty-Ann; brother Kyle, sister Britney, step-sister Ashley, step-brother Brandon; grandparents Arnie and Fran; grandparents Joe and Johanna and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Marinus and Corena Dykshoorn, and her aunt Nelvia. Chelsey was a quiet and gentle young woman, fun-loving and content with her small group of very close friends. She loved being at home with her sister, her dearest and best friend, with whom she shared everything. Their shared tattoos read; "I'll be the wings that keep your head in the clouds" (Britney) and "I'll be the anchor that keeps your feet on the ground" (Chelsey). A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at Hazelwood Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 pm at Central Heights Church, 1661 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, BC.
