Clara (Klaaske) Waardenburg passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on January 8th, 2022.
Clara was predeceased by her husband, Wayne, on February 18, 2017 and her daughter, Shirley, in July 1968.
She is survived by her children; Gary (Terry),Wes, Ralph (Cindy), Ed, Jim (Kathy), Cathy (Bert), David (Theresa) and Melvin. She was adored by 14 grandchildren
and numerous great grandchildren.
Clara was born in Stiens, Netherlands and she immigrated to Canada in 1951. Wayne and Clara were married on April 1, 1955 in Matsqui Village and were founding members of the Bethel Reformed Church. Over the years, the family grew to nine children.
Clara enjoyed many things. She loved to bake and was an excellent cook. She could always be found knitting something for someone in the family and adored making baby blankets and throws.
