NIXON; Dale Thomas. Sept. 3, 1927 ~ June 21, 2014. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his loving wife and soul-mate Loyce Edith (nee Shaw), his parents, Thomas (Tony) and Annie (May) and a sister Joan Nelson. He is survived by his daughter Nancy (Ron) Anger, granddaughter Jenessa Miglietta, step-daughter Traci Goetz, step-sons Clay (Wendy) Young, Dane (Laura) Young, brother Ronald (Marie), four grandchildren, Noelle Goetz, Chelsea Goetz, Cole and Sierra Young, and 3 great grandchildren. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. Dale attended Albert Public School in Regina, and completed public school in Pasqua, Saskatchewan. Graduated Moose Jaw Technical School. Joined the Leader Post Ltd in Regina in 1945, transferred to CKCK Radio and TV and back to the Leader Post where he remained until retirement in 1988. Dale and Loyce spent their retirement years between Regina and Abbotsford and Palm Desert, CA where they had many friends and neighbors. Dale was a 50 year life member of Elks Lodge #9 Regina, member of the Masonic Fraternity joining Regina Lodge #211, currently with the MWM Lodge #11 in 1971, and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry 32 and Shriner's of North America, Wa Wa Temple, Regina and Wa Wa Directors Staff Unit. Cremation by Wiebe and Jeske Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Wa Wa Children's Hospital Fund or Christine Morrison Hospice of Mission, BC.
