FAIRBROTHER Darren John

Darren passed away peace-fully on May 23, 2013 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, after a 5 year journey with Gastro Intestinal Stromal Tumour Cancer. He is survived by his loving parents John and Bonnie (Kamp) Fairbrother. He will also be so missed by his siblings - Cyndi Fairbrother, Michelle Fairbrother, Shonda Kutzer (Joey) and Kyle Fairbrother (Cheryl Ewert). Nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Darren are: Caitlyn, Olivia and Courtney Knight and Danya, Tyra, Kaden and Jaxson Kutzer. He also leaves behind his Grandpa Peter Kamp. Darren was recently predeceased by his Grandma Evelyn Kamp in January 2013. As well he will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We know that Darren will be dancing up a storm in heaven. Darren's family is so thankful to Dr. Stuart Brown and the wonderful staff on the Palliative Ward. Thanks also to Drs. Oja and Lee at the Fraser Valley Cancer Centre and Drs. John Chan, Barbieri and Hilliard. A Celebration of Darren's life will be held at Cascade Community Church on Saturday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. 35190 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, BC. Feel free to wear something lime green if you like, as it was his favourite colour.
