KAISER, DAVID

David Kaiser was received into the

loving arms of Jesus on August 14, 2008, in Sicamous, BC. He leaves behind his loving wife, Priscilla; his children Miranda Funk (Brian), Robin Ediger (Troy), Kevin (Sherri-Lynn); grandchildren Brooklyn, Courtenay, Shaylynn and Carson Funk, Karyssa and Daniel Ediger, Brittny, Victoria and Amy Kaiser; brothers John (Alma), Alex (Claire), Sam (Marilyn), Leo (Diana); sisters Sophie Hein, Betty Gerhardt (Elmer), Eileen Sipe (Lawrence); in laws Ruth Reinheller (Ray), Grace Pudney (Rob); and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. David was predeceased by his parents; his wife's parents Bill & Marie Semeniuk; brother Henry; in-laws Dan Hein, Mary Ann Kaiser and Stephanie Kaiser; niece Arlene Hein and nephew Doug Kaiser. David was born in Vulcan, Alberta to Alexander and Mollie Kaiser on April 3, 1944 and was raised on their farm with his eight brothers and sisters until moving to Calgary. He met Priscilla on a blind date and married her in 1964. They had three children and in 1971 moved to Abbotsford, BC. David worked as a mechanic and later operated his own garage, Dave's Service. He went on to drive truck for Rempel Brothers Concrete for a number of years. His interests included mechanics, camping with his family and fishing. Given the challenge, he could make or fix anything. David and Priscilla moved to beautiful Sicamous, BC, in 2006 where he lived out the remainder of his days close to family. Though his health suffered greatly for many years of his life, David will be remembered for his sense of humour, his amazing handy-man skills, and his willingness to help out anybody in need.

You are deeply missed and will forever by in our hearts. We love you.
