It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, sister and friend. After more than 4 years of considerable health challenges Diane's courageous journey came to an end on November 22nd in the loving company of her family. Diane was born to Bob and Gladys Chadwick and spent her childhood in North Vancouver. Diane has called Abbotsford home for the last 4 decades where she and husband Darryl raised 5 children; including a successful career in insurance and management. Diane enjoyed music, camping (especially bundled up evenings around the campfire) and cooking elaborate dinners for her family and friends. A genuine, beautiful and caring person, with strength and will power to spare, will be forever missed. Survived by husband Darryl, brother Rob (Bonnie) son David (Amanda), daughter Christine and step sons Patrick, Adam (Marsha) and Travis (Mary). Grandchildren Iain, Noah, Ethan, Jaimeson and Ayla. A celebration of life has been arranged at the family home for 1pm - 5pm, December 13th, 2014, 34511 Eton Cresent, Abbotsford, BC. Diane, Darryl and Family want to send a special thank you for the compassionate and exceptional care of the Dr's, nurses and staff of both the Vancouver Solid Organ Transplant team and the BC Cancer Agency.
