Donald George passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2006 at the age of 76 years. He was born April 16, 1929 in Hendon, England. He was predeceased by his first wife Alda, son Russell, parents George and Elsie, and brother, David.
Donald is survived by his wife Maxine; sons Ian, Peter, Howard, Stuart, Murray; daughter Joanne and stepson Gary as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends in England and N. Ireland. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Pat and her sons Chris and Norman, and their families. Donald worked for 33 years in Montreal for Canadair and Bombardier Aerospace, a job that he loved, which also gave him many lifelong friends.
There will be no service as requested but a visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Donald’s name.
