HARDING Doris. Doris Amelia Love Harding (nee Carter) gracefully passed away at the Amherst Private Hospital on January 27, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born on April 10, 1921 in Port Arthur, ON. She is survived by her 2 children, Linda Marie and David. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Lindsay and brother, Harold. Her working life included being a bank teller at the Bank of Montreal where she met many lifelong friends. After moving to Abbotsford, she settled into the life of a homemaker, but was also continually involved with charity organizations like the Stroke Club at the local hospital, which she ran for many years. A Celebration of Doris' life will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:00 am at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC. Donations in memory of Doris may be made to Abbotsford Community Services senior's programmes.
