DOROTHY JAMIESON
Dorothy was born November 21, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Mission at the age of five. Mission was her home until she passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2009. She was a long time employee of Eatons in both Mission and Abbotsford as well as a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary for the past 40 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Allen and sons, Richard and Sydney. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Jean; grandson Allen (Christal), granddaughter Colleen (Brian) and great granddaughters Sadie, Jenelle and Vanessa. A special thank you to her long time friend Doreen for her love and support. Thank you also to Dr. Nemanishen, Dr. Potter and the nurses and volunteers at Christine Morrison Hospice. A memorial service was held at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice.
