CORNWELL Edith. Aged 82, passed away Monday Feb. 18, 2013. Edie was born Feb. 26, 1930 in Chilliwack. She grew up in Mission on the family farm on 7th Ave. She married Ken in 1954 and they moved to Silverdale where she happily resided for the rest of her years. Edie enjoyed her career as a school secretary for Mission School District. There she made countless friends with the children, parents, and teachers. Edie spent her retirement traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Arizona, and Nevada. She enjoyed the yearly fishing trips with her life long friends. She was a passionate animal lover and gardener. She is survived by her husband Ken, son Robert(Debbie), grand daughters Amber(Brad Smith) and Ashley, and 2 great grand daughters. We would like to thank the staff at Memory Lane in Pleasantview for their wonderful care and support. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
