Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep at Mission Memorial Hospital on July 15, 2016 at 96 years old. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Wally in 1977 and four brothers, two sisters and a longtime friend Leo. Edna will be sadly missed by her daughter Diane (Phil) Burke and granddaughter Jodi (Donavan) Reid as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was well known for her love of music, dancing and sense of humor. Thank you to Dr. Patel and the staff at Mission Hospital for making Mom’s last week as comfortable as possible. A special thanks to the Cedars staff and residents for providing her a loving home for the last nine years. A family graveside service will take place at a later date.
