BLACKBURN Ellen. (nee Finlay). Oct. 16, 1922 ~ June 4, 2011. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Ellen Blackburn. She was born in Lloydminster, SK and was a resident of Mission for the past 20 years. Ellen was predeceased by her parents Edith and Alex Finlay, her husband Gordon Parke and sister Gladys Motherwell. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her sister Irene Hutton in Alberta, her children Donald Parke, (Susan, Lesley, Brent, David), Janet (Cameron) Ottley (Robert), Lindsay (Patti) Parke (Randy, Rick, Kris, Nicole, Steven) along with 11 great grandchildren. A service will be held Friday, June 10th at 2:00 pm in Mission at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 8469 Cedar St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
