WAITE, Eva
(SEPT. 18th. 1916 - JAN. 14th. 2010)
Eva passed away peacefully at Cartier House nursing home in Coquitlam where she resided for the past 2 ½ years. Previous to this she resided in Abbotsford for 20 plus years with husband Jim (deceased) and daughter Janet (deceased). Born in Pontypridd, Wales, she emigrated to Canada in 1980 with husband Jim to join her son and daughter and their families. She is survived by her son John and wife Phyllis, son-in-law Brian, and four grandchildren; Tanya, Justin, Nicola, Leanne and great-grandchild Devyn. Eva was a special lady; kind, gracious, totally unselfish whilst fiercely independent with a good sense of humour. She will be sadly missed, but she is now where she wants to be. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Eva's memory to the charity of your choice. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia.
