VERHAAG, Gerry
January 30, 1942 - March 3, 2008
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. After a 2 year battle with cancer, Gerry passed away suddenly but peacefully at the age of 66.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel, daughter, Karen (James), grandchildren, Caleb and Hannah and mother-in-law Agnes. He is survived also by his siblings, Wessie (Jelle), Theo, Lieuwe (Elaine), Marijan and John (Elise) and numerous nieces and nephews in Holland and England. He is predeceased by his parents and older sister Rika.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 7 at 4 p.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 2597 Bourquin Crescent East, Abbotsford, B.C. 604-859-6902. Reception to follow.
