LANG GLADYS (FREDA)

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Freda. Freda is predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas James Brown Lang and her two sisters, Phyllis and Margaret and son-in-law, Bill. She is survived by her two daughters, Heather Stevens, Janet Cochrane and her grandchildren, Janet (Jim) Phillips, Carol (Ron) Epp, Brian Cochrane, Sharon (John) Pater and her great grandchildren, Daniel and Julie Epp, Jordan, Evan, and Andy Pater. After the death of her husband Freda moved to Abbotsford in 2002 from Parksville to be near her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Menno Home for all the wonderful care and love she received. A Celebration of Freda's Life will be held on Monday, August 31 at 2:00 pm at Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Rd, Abbotsford. Her ashes will be interred in the Memorial Garden of St. Columba Presbyterian Church in Parksville. Condolences to the family may be made through www.mem.com. In lieu of flowers a donation in Freda's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
