HARDER, Glen Robert
July 2, 1950 – October 9, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Robert Harder on October 9, 2016.
Glen was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta on July 2, 1950. He had a blunt straight faced sense of humour which could get him in trouble at times but it was also pretty funny. All that knew him knew he had a great love for fishing, as some of the best memories were of him were sitting out on the river.
Although his time with us was short, he created a lifetime of memories that will last forever. Glen was married to his wife Betty on October 21, 1977 until her passing on April 24, 2016. They both will be truly missed, but it brings comfort knowing that they are together again. Glen will be remembered by his brother Butch (Mary), sisters Janet (Lee), Anita (Jim), sons, Todd (Corrie), Rod (Brenda), daughter Charlene; grandchildren, Chad (Sherri), Lana, Laura, Ryan (Jenny) and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Alex, Hailey, Riley, and Ava; as well as friends and neighbours Neil and Bonnie.
Glen’s favourite words right to the end:
“Fish On” and “View from my office today”
