COLLINS; Glenn. Mr. Glenn Oliver Collins late of Matsqui Village passed away suddenly after a short illness on January 27, 2013 at the age of 78 at Mission Memorial Hospital. He will be missed by children: Larry (Rose), Ken (Sherry), and Donna (Steve); grandchildren: Ryan, Ashley, Amanda, Craig, Rachelle, Darren and Brandon; 3 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Alex and Tyson; sisters Joyce and Doris, brother Bruce (Dickie) and friends. He was predeceased by wife Lillian in 2005, and baby daughter Trina in 1963. Glenn was born and raised in SK, came to BC where he met his wife Lillian. They settled in Matsqui Village where they raised their family. He was a long time volunteer with the Matsqui Fire Dept. and volunteered for 12 years with Citizens on Patrol. He will be remembered for his easy going nature and his hearty laugh. Glenn was loved and will be missed. A Funeral Service will be held on Fri., Feb. 1, 2013 at 11 am at Matsqui Lutheran Church at 5781 Riverside St, Abbotsford. Interment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
