Grant Tyrone Meek

May 21, 1947 - August 24, 2019
Grant Tyrone Meek passed away peacefully on August 24, 2019 at age 72 years. He was born May 21, 1947. Grant is lovingly remembered by his wife Shiela of 52 years, two daughters, Brenda (Michael) Khela and Debra Meek; two granddaughters, Sarah Khela and Rebecca Khela; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Violet Meek.
Grant worked at Hammond Cedar Mill for over 40 years retiring as Chief Engineer. He coached girl's softball for over 20 years in Maple Ridge. He was a long-time member of Mission Golf Course and the Golden Ears Winter Curling Club. He coached men's slow-pitch and was president of the Slow-Pitch League.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC. If any so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Mission Hospice Society in Grant's name.
