JOINER
Joiner (nee Hyde), Gwen late of Abbotsford was brought home to her Saviour on March 12, 2011 at the age of 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Howard, and 6 children, Cheryl (Tom) Davis, Sheldon (Shari), Sandy (Lee) Charpentier, Rob (Kelly), Laurie (Wayne) Kuiken, Vicki (Steve) Fehr, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mom's knitted blankets have filled countless children's Christmas gift boxes here in the community and around the world. She was an avid reader and in her younger days she loved hiking, especially Mt. Baker and Mt. Cheam. Mom's gentleness showed itself in her love of family, kitties and tea parties. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Church at 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford with Pastor Warren Schatz officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cyrus Centre of Abbotsford, or World Vision.
