It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hans (Johann) Rainer. Hans passed away peacefully on August 4, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit of the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 79. He was born on February 14, 1939 in Rauris, Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1966 to pursue his passion for dairy farming.
Hans is survived by his partner Tilda Bourget, his daughter Jennifer Watts, son-in-law Jason Watts, granddaughter Caitlyn Watts and his son Colin Rainer. Hans was predeceased by his wife, Anna Rainer.
Hans was a kind and generous man, who was forever devoted to his family. We love you and we miss you dearly.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit of the Abbotsford Hospital for providing Hans with the care, dignity and respect he deserved in his last days.
A memorial in Hans' honour will be held on Monday, August 20th at 1:00 pm at the Bakerview Community Crematorium & Celebration Centre in Mission, BC.
