In loving memory ~
The family is sad to announce that Harry Huber passed away on November 27, 2022, into the arms of his Saviour Jesus Christ, at age 79. Harry was born in Bethlehem, PA. Harry was predeceased by his mother and step-father Sarah & George Trexler, and brother Lenny. Harry is survived by Gladys, his beloved wife of 57 years; daughter Michelle (Shane) Elliott and grandchildren Paige and Jonathan, and sons Chris (Sammi) and Matt (Sasha) and grandchildren Jackson and Chloë. Harry is also survived by his sisters Debi, Linda, Kathy, & Sue and their families, sister-in-law Corinne, and many dear nieces and nephews.
Harry loved sports, such as watching football, or playing basketball, baseball and tennis in his younger years, and playing golf well into retirement. Harry loved music and was the first drummer at his church in the 1970s. Harry's biggest devotion was to his faith, and he was always involved with his church as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, boys club leader, elder, and later Head Usher. After retirement from Save-On-Foods, Harry volunteered at the MCC Thrift Store, as his greatest joy was to be around people.
Harry was interred at Hatzic Cemetery, and a Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, December 27, at 1:30 pm at Cedar Valley Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to MCC, Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry, or the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
