It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Harsimran (Simbi) Kaur Dhillon on September 15, 2016. She will be greatly missed by son, Avin Dhillon (grandkids, Kory/Deepi), son, Prith Dhillon, daughter, Sukhwinder (Sukhi) Kaur Reehal (husband, Gurmeet), (grandkids, Justin/Harjot, Dylan), brothers, Akbar Singh Kooner (wife, Surinder Kaur), Lehmber Singh Ghag (wife, Baldev Kaur) and nieces and nephews. Harsimran K. Dhillon was born February 1, 1943. She immigrated to Canada in June of 1974 and settled in Abbotsford. For 42 years she has been a pillar for the community. She will be missed by all family, friends and general community at large for her countless hours of volunteering. Funeral Service will be held at Fraser River Funeral Home - 2061 Riverside Rd., Abbotsford, BC on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 12:30 pm. Prayers will follow at Khalsa Diwan Society - 33089 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC at 2:00 pm.
