BECK; Harvey Waynne
This morning, with his faithful care staff seeing to his every need, Harvey left this earth and went through the open door to meet his Master, Jesus Christ. He leaves his daughter Gina (Phil) of Boston, MA and son, Geoff (Bonetta) of Kenaston, SK. Grandchildren who will miss him, are Spencer and Preston Burt, and Mckenzie, Madisson, and Macey Beck. Harvey Waynne Beck was born in Saskatoon, SK, March 26, 1943 and died, October 26, 2016, in Abbotsford, BC. He also leaves his sisters, Ila-Mae (Henry) Dueck, Carole Beck, and Cheri Ayers, cousins and many friends. Most of Harvey’s life was spent in Saskatoon and Battleford, SK, but he moved to BC in 2003 to be with Ila-Mae and Henry. In 2007 he moved into Sherwood Crescent Manor and remained with that organization which became Mayfair in 2015. In that location he made many friends with other residents and their visitors, as well as all the staff members, especially the very loving matron, Marilyn. He was not beyond playing pranks and teasing whenever the opportunity arose. Memorial Service at Mayfair Care Home, 33433 Marshall Road, Abbotsford at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016. We will miss him, but not as those who have no hope of a reunion with loved ones in heaven.
