VONNIESSEN, HENRY
Henry was born January 25, 1929 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan and passed away at age 81 on June 1, 2010 after a 14 year battle with cancer. Survived by his wife of 55 years Laura; children Sharon (Greg) and Sandra (Brian); his 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Charlene, Allyanna and Andralyn. Henry spent a number of years in the Okanagan Valley as owner of Superior Peat. A very special, heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff on the Palliative Care Ward at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, June 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Henry's memory to the BC Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
