FLETCHER, 1916-2011
Ida Mae Fletcher passed away peacefully on January 30, 2011. Predeceased by her parents, husband Mel, and siblings Grace, Marg, Dorothy, and J.R. Ida Mae is survived by her nieces and nephew Lesley Stafford (Wylie), Gail (Gerry) Ann, and Wray (Sue) and their families.
Ida Mae had several close long-time friends (too many to mention) and the family would like to thank them for their friendships and for all the assistance they gave her in her later years. Thanks also go to Dr. Frew and the team of nurses, social workers and other staff at the Mission extended care unit for taking such good care of Ida Mae in her final days. To honour Ida Mae’s wishes, there will be no funeral or other service. However, those wishing to remember Ida Mae, may do so by making a donation to the Mission Hospice Society or to the charity of their choice.
