SCHMOR, Irene E. (nee: Doerksen)
June 26, 1940 - February 24, 2015
Irene's journey on earth ended at age 74. She leaves to mourn her spouse Paul, children Carl (Kate) and Kent, grandchildren Ethan & Emma, brother Henry (Chrysanna) and sister-in-law Nancy. Irene is predeceased by her parents Herman and Mary Doerksen, and brother John. Irene was the founding director of the Amadeus Children's Choir following a lengthy career of teaching in Winnipeg and Surrey, BC. The family wishes to acknowledge the special care provided by the staff at KinVillage in Tsawwassen, and also to Deraldine who provided compassionate care to Irene for the past 13 years. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 2, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Valley View Funeral home, 14660 72 Ave, Surrey, BC, interment to follow. Please sign the online book of condolences at:
