July 19, 1942 - April 10, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband and Dad, Jim. He leaves behind his loving wife Linda and sons Scott (Dianne) and Jeff (Nicole) along with grandchildren Ian, Logan, Dana, Luke and Charlotte, brother Glen (Cathy) and many other family and friends.
Dad was born in Ocean Falls, BC on July 19, 1942, moving through Vancouver, Prince George and eventually on to Winnipeg where he met his rock and love of his life Lindy. He convinced her to move to BC to raise a family, and settled in Port Coquitlam for 30 years before his last move to Mission, BC.
Dad was very proud to be a lifelong Boy Scout and Leader and founding member of the 40th Canadian Baden-Powell Guild (Tri-Cities).
Mom and Dad travelled the world in their retirement, eventually touching all seven continents. He loved sitting around campfires and hanging out with friends and family at the "Glen" and Summerland for many years. He loved yelling at the tv when his beloved BC Lions were playing.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his memory to the Parkinson's society.
Dad always said he was on a "see-food diet". If he saw food he ate it. Raise a glass to Jim, he always said it was 5 o'clock somewhere! Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
