MARSH; James Percy. 1940 ~ 2014. It is with great sadness to announce the passing of James Percy Marsh who died peacefully on June 7, 2014 at ARHCC with his family at his side. Jim was born in Ashton-U-Lyne, England to Percy and Eveline Marsh on March 10, 1940. In his younger days in England Jim was an avid sportsman, excelled in tennis and enjoyed fishing. He followed his brother Jack to Canada in 1973 and always considered Canada his home.
He is survived by his wife Ruby of 31 years, brother Jack (Joyce), nephew Tim Marsh, daughter Gillian Drader (Gene), son Andrew Marsh, daughter Lisa Ursel (Steve), granddaughters Morgan and Loren, grandson Derek, step-son Jason Peters, grandsons Dominic, Justin and Brandon, step-daughter Shelly McColeman (Rob), grandchildren Zarah and Aron-Christian, all of whom he adored, as well as several relatives around the world. As per Jim's wishes his ashes will be spread at Loon Lake, BC where he was always happy and content. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
