September 16, 1975 - August 2, 2018
After a long struggle with a deteriorating illness, Jason (Jay) passed away peacefully on August 2, 2018 at Mission Hospital.
Jay spent his life growing up in Maple Ridge, then as an adult in Mission. Jay was such a warm, loving young man, with a good sense of humour. He loved spending time with his brothers, family and his care givers. Jay had a love for almost anything that moved with wheels. He enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, when he was able to do so. He also loved his food.
Jay leaves behind to mourn his mom, Bonnie, stepdad, Rick, two brothers, Shawn, Ryan, grandmother, Hope, and many Uncles, Aunts, cousins and friends. Jay is predeceased by his father, Edward, 1 brother, Clayton, and 3 grandparents, Ken, Elmer and Yvonne.
Special thanks to Jason's long term care givers, John, Heidi and their family for all the love and care they provided over the years. We would also like to thank Nathan Murdoch for the support that he provided to the families and also to the staff at Mission Hospital.
Due to uncertain circumstances there will be a celebration of life for Jason at a later date.
