Jean Moodie cherished mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many, passed gently into the arms of her beloved Saviour with family and Pastor Dan Nicholson at her side on Monday, May 10 in her 98th year at Menno Hospital. Jean is survived by daughter Kathy, Abbotsford and son Walter (Ethel Kurshniruk) Calgary, granddaughter Pamela, step-grandson Darwin (Nadine) and two great step-granddaughters, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband Carman (1994), her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
The Celebration of her life will be held in Ottawa, ON, May 20, 1:00 pm at Hulse, Playfair and McGarry Funeral Home, 315 McLeod St. A Memorial service will be held in Abbotsford in late June.
