1927-2020 ~ On Friday, August 21st, our dear Oma and Mutti, also known as Joyce, took her last breath, in her home in Powell River, BC, surrounded by her son, Peter and daughter-in-law, Kathleen.
Joyce was born in Parramatta, Australia in 1927 and after a series of moves between Australia and Austria, she and her husband, Wilhelm (Bill) moved to Canada in 1973, along with their two sons, Peter and Kurt. Following the death of her beloved Bill in 1989, Joyce moved to Mission, BC where she lived for almost 25 years.
She will be dearly missed by her two sons, Peter (Kathleen), Kurt (Carol); grandchildren Anton (Gillian), Katrina (Dan), Colton (Dori), and Michael; as well as great grandchildren, Abigail, Gabriel and Chanel.
