Belanger, Larry. Larry (Lawrence) Norman Belanger went to be with Jesus on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the age of 61. Born in New Westminster, B.C, he met his future wife Janet Amelia Brandt, at Clearbrook Junior High in Grade 8. They were just friends for years as Jan waited for Larry to accept Jesus into his heart. On May 1, 1970, Larry became a born again Christian, and nine months later they were married. Together Larry and Janet created King Hoe Excavating, a wonderful business which they ran until 2008 when they sold it to battle Larry's cancer. Larry is survived by his wife Janet, two daughters Michelle (Trent) Lord and Monique Belanger, and grandson Nicholas Lord. He and his wonderful sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him. The Memorial will be held at Seven Oaks Alliance Church, Abbotsford at 2:00 pm on February 1, 2013. In Lieu of flowers, Larry requested that donations be sent to Gideon's Bible Society.
