MACPHERSON; Lindsay. 1936 ~ 2014
Lindsay was released from his courageous battle with cancer on August 9th. He leaves behind his wife Gill, children; Andrew, Sue, Anita, Joanne, Jenn and Tim, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his sister Wendy Smith. Our hearts are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support over the past 6 months. We appreciated the sensitive care from the neurosurgeon Dr. Frangou and nursing staff at the Royal Columbian Hospital, and the dedicated Palliative Care Team who enabled Lindsay to stay at home, the Tertiary Staff at the MSA Hospital and intensive compassionate service at Mission Hospice. The pharmacists at Shoppers Drug Mart at SevenOaks must be mentioned for their personal support throughout his illness. All the acts of kindness, gifts and cards from Lindsay's treasured friends helped him through til the end. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 18th at 1:00 pm at Grace Church 2087 McMillan Rd, followed by a reception in the church hall.
