BUTNER, Lloyd. It is with great sadness and loss that we announce that Lloyd V. Butner passed away peacefully in the presence of the Lord. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Margaret, and his daughter, Helen, as well as an extended network of family and friends in Canada, the US, and overseas. Lloyd was predeceased by his son Norman and his sister Louise. Lloyd was a knowledgeable farmer. After moving to BC from Alberta, he had a well-established organic vegetable farm in West Langley that supplied a variety of grocery stores in the Lower Mainland. In 1980, he and the family moved to the Mt. Lehman area of Abbotsford where he also became well known for breeding full blood Blonde D'Aquitaine cattle. He continued to work on the property until very recently. Lloyd will be best remembered for his warm bear hugs, smile, and greetings of "I love you." A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 30th at 1 pm at the Mount Lehman United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with the outreach of the Mount Lehman United Church. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.woodlawnfh-abbotsford.com
