With a profound sense of loss, the family of Lorraine Wilcott announce that she passed away on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 after a battle with cancer at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre with her family at her side. Lorraine was 67 years old.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Connor) and Christopher (Kamelli), and her grandchild, Desmond, who brought her so much joy in her final years.
Lorraine and was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 6, 1954. She moved to Vancouver in 1985 to be closer to her immediate family. She worked as a receptionist for the BC Teacher's Federation and spent most of her years in East Vancouver until relocating to Mission, BC a decade ago where she found her faith community with the Shalom House of Maple Ridge, BC.
Lorraine loved her family with a passion which she expressed through amazing cooking, a hilarious sense of humour, and motherly concern. Lorraine was a very passionate Christian and gained much joy, strength, and comfort from her faith. Her family takes solace in the fact that she is now with Jesus, who she walked beside throughout her life.

A private viewing, burial, and celebration of life will take place in accordance with Lorraine's wishes.
