Louise (Lou) Elsie Lloyd-Wiebe

March 15, 1925 ~ May 29, 2017


Louise (Lou) Elsie Lloyd-Wiebe went home to be with her Lord and Saviour at Bevan Village in Abbotsford, BC on May 29th 2017 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her daughter Judith Ann Lloyd of Grand Prairie, Alberta as well as her first husband Leonard W. Lloyd of Edmonton, Alberta and her second husband Neil W. Wiebe of Abbotsford, BC. Lou is survived by her brother Ike Doerksen of Calgary, Alberta, and her sister Sarah Warkentin of Maple Ridge, BC. She is also survived by niece Myrtle-Anne Rempel (Ed), their children Cheryl Holmes and Kirk Rempel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lou is also survived by her step-children Larry (Martha) Wiebe, Bob (Lynda) Wiebe and Marvin (Rhonda) Wiebe and nine step grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren. Lou led a full life and loved to be the “life of the party”. She loved to entertain and dedicated much of her life to leading people to Christ through her “Entertaining with a Purpose” ministry. In true form Lou had all her final arrangements planned and well documented. A Memorial Service is planned for Tuesday, June 20th at 1:00 pm at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road in Abbotsford. A family graveside interment of her ashes will be held prior to the Memorial Service.
