HOGAN: Lynne (O’ Gorman)
Our Lynne passed away peacefully March 22, 2009 at the age of 63. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 1999 she spent the last 7 years of life in full Long Term Care. Lynne was born to Ted and Helen O’Gorman in Perth, Ont. on October 3, 1945. She received all of her early education in Perth having earned many awards for her Scholastic ability.
In 1967 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queen’s University. Proficient in English and French Lynne pursued a career teaching languages at the Senior High School Level in Kingston, Ont. and Edmonton, AB.
After marriage in 1973 she along with husband Jim made British Columbia home finally settling in the Lower Mainland where she worked and raised her family. Lynne is survived by her husband of 36 years J.J. (Jim) Hogan, son Matt Hogan, Mississauga, Ont, daughter Katie Curtis (Pat), Langley, B.C. with 3 grandchildren, Keaton, Emy, and Laine.
A Celebration of Lynne’s Life will be held April 15, 2009 from 1 – 4 pm at Morgan Creek Golf Club, Morgan Creek Way at 32nd in South Surrey. For all who knew Lynne – Please join us.
