CURRY

M. Jacqueline (Jackie)

(nee Milne)

Nov. 16, 1924 ~ Nov 6., 2014

Sadly we announce the passing of Jackie Curry. Predeceased by her parents Charlotte Ruth Clay and Peter Duncan Milne; brothers Bill and Bob and sisters Ruth, Marguerite and Doreen. She is survived by sister Sally Crooks, son Ken Curry (Char), grandchildren Erin and Russ, great-grandson Tyler, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jackie was born and grew up in Vancouver joining the RCAF, as a flight controller for the duration of WWII. She was a natural and gifted athlete who excelled in sports - especially baseball. Few ball players could throw the ball from centre field to home plate for that "out" like Jackie. After many years in the Yukon, she moved to BC and finally to Aldergrove, remaining there for the rest of her days. Special thanks owed to Jackie's caregivers, Nurse Kelly and her team, and Dr. Methven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or the charity of your choice. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
