HARRIS - Margaret Ann. (Pull-tab Maggie)

(Pilot's #1 Cheerleader) Margaret passed away on April 28, 2011 while on vacation in Reno, NV with her husband Larry. Margaret was born in Savannah, GA on October 31, 1938. She is pre- deceased by her son Daniel, husbands John Smith and Roy Ollenberger. Margaret is survived by her husband Larry, daughters; Kelly (Randy) Bylsma of Lake Oswego, OR, Donna (Mitch) Thomas of Springhill, FL, Pam (Tony) Morgan of Williamsburg, VA, son Dale Henry, grandchildren; Connor and Shelby Bylsma, Alyssa, Kaitlyn and Kelcie Thomas, Sondra, Serena and Dylan Morgan, Meriah, Jerrimiah and David Henry, Garrett, Jake and Danny Smith (Danial's children) of Aberdeen, WA., brother M.L. Ayres (Mary) of Jessup, GA. Margaret is also survived by an extensive step family; including many step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret lived in Whatcom County, WA. for 30 years and held jobs at Tony's Tavern in Custer, WA and the Lone Jack Saloon in Sumas, WA where she earned the nickname "Pull-tab Maggie". Margaret married her present husband Larry in 2001 and retired and moved to Abbotsford, BC. During their time together she enjoyed going eagle watching and car racing at Agassiz speedway. She also became an avid quilter and on Friday nights Maggie could be found at Abbotsford Pilot's hockey games where she cheered loudly and rang her cowbell profusely. A celebration of the life of Margaret Ann Harris will be held on Saturday, May 7th from 1 - 5 in the Royal Court condominium complex at 31930 Old Yale Road in Abbotsford. The minister's address will take place at 2:00 pm. Refreshments will be served. Please park in the church parking lot next door.
