Melvin Peter Asselbora
October 28, 1952 ~ May 3, 2017
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Asselbora at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He fought a brief but courageous and brave battle with liver cancer and always remained upbeat and positive. Melvin was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Fran, and his stepfather Mitch Nowak. He will be sadly missed by his brother Allan (Eloise), his nephew Kevin (Sarina) and family, niece Katrina (Ilya) and family and numerous other relatives and friends. Melvin will always be remembered for his friendliness, his gardening skills and his generosity with giving away plants and fresh grown vegetables. Many thanks for the support and visits by Melvin's friends, Larry, Bryan, Ed, Vic, and Lorrie and for the care by the staff at Abbotsford Hospital. No service by request.
